RIDEYELLOW was created to raise awareness of the prevalence of cancer in our community and to draft grassroots support for the LAF mission of inspiring and empowering people affected by cancer. LAF believes that:

The Main Event:

RIDEYELLOW 2008, our local road cycling event benefiting the Lance Armstrong Foundation, was hosted by the City of Bay Minette on June 14, 2008. In 2007, our first year, more than 300 riders from 8 states praised RIDEYELLOW as one of the Gulf Coast’s premier cycling events. RIDEYELLOW 2008 promises to be bigger and better with our goal of more than 500 riders and their families!


Our Success :

Since 2004, we have raised more than $85,000.00 from our generous community to support the Lance Armstrong Foundation and its mission to “inspire and empower people affected by cancer.”


Our Organization:

RIDEYELLOW.ORG is a fundraiser benefiting the Lance Armstrong Foundation, RIDEYELLOW officially became a non-profit in September of 2007. In keeping with its purpose and mission, RIDEYELLOW has chosen to annually rotate financial support to a local charity that provides assistance to those affected by cancer. 2008’s recipient was the Ronald McDonald House of Mobile.
